About Arbor & Brass

Designed to Belong.

The things we keep say something about us.

Arbor & Brass creates pieces that become part of everyday life. They become reminders of the people, places, and moments that matter most.

Every product begins with one question: would this still be something worth keeping if the electronics disappeared?

Our story

Good design looks effortless.

We started Arbor & Brass with a simple belief: the objects we live with every day should become more meaningful over time.

2026

Launched in North Carolina

Arbor & Brass began with a simple belief: useful objects should be good enough to keep, even when the category around them changes.

Materials

Materials with meaning

We work with materials that improve with age. Solid hardwoods develop character. Brass gains a patina unique to every piece. They aren't chosen because they're traditional. They're chosen because they reward being kept.

Beginning

Launch Edition

Our first piece celebrates Scripture because some words are carried through generations. They deserve an object built with the same sense of permanence.

Direction

Built for what's next.

Every Arbor & Brass piece begins with the same question: "Will this still matter years from now?"

Our values

The standard is simple. The work is not.

Designed to belong

An Arbor & Brass object should feel like it has always belonged there.

Materials first

Solid hardwoods, brass accents, proportion, finish, and touch come before features. If the object cannot stand on its own, the design is not finished.

Built with purpose

Every detail needs a reason to be there. If a feature does not make the piece better to live with, it does not belong.

Personal by design

Numbering, engraved dedications, and a personalized startup experience are small details with a clear purpose: they make a product feel assigned to a person, not just purchased by one.

Built for duration

Durability means solid materials, precise machining, dependable electronics, maintained software, and support that respects the life of the product.

Why we started with Scripture

Timeless words deserve more than a temporary frame.

Scripture was the first expression of this philosophy because the words carry weight before any product is involved.

We wanted to create an object that respected that significance: present in daily life, made with lasting materials, and helped by technology without being defined by it.

That beginning does not limit Arbor & Brass to one category. It clarifies the standard for everything that follows.
